Responsibilities
- Forecast and map emerging technological trends through quantitative analysis and qualitative research, focusing on 2026-2030 horizons
- Architect strategic roadmaps for AI-integrated systems, quantum computing applications, and climate-tech innovations
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype and validate breakthrough technologies with $10M+ annual R&D budget
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for ethical AI deployment and sustainable tech scaling
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members through data-driven visualizations
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and acquire transformative startups
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote at global tech summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurist Studies (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning with proven impact at Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate-tech
- Portfolio of 3+ patents or published research in future-tech domains
- Proficiency in trend-mapping tools (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, Deloitte Tech Trends)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from WFS or AC/FS)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex tech concepts into actionable business strategies
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding for experimental projects
