Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze global tech trends, market disruptions, and emerging innovations through quantitative research and qualitative foresight
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligning with 2026+ business objectives and industry disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional ideation workshops to conceptualize next-gen products and services
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate futurist insights into corporate strategy and investment decisions
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and research labs for technology scouting
- Present compelling future scenarios to stakeholders and translate foresight into actionable implementation plans
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and social factors influencing tech adoption and innovation ecosystems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, AR/VR, and decentralized systems
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, Futures Studies, or related field (MBA, PhD preferred)
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario development skills with track record of disrupting markets
- Deep understanding of global innovation ecosystems and technology adoption lifecycles
- Strong data analytics proficiency with experience in trend forecasting and predictive modeling
- Credibility with executive stakeholders and ability to communicate complex future concepts persuasively
- Portfolio of published futurist research, patents, or successful innovation launches
