Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to forecast market impacts and opportunities through 2026
- Develop technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and sustainability goals
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate next-gen products and services
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and scenario planning
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and ethical implications of emerging innovations
- Build a network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers for trend intelligence
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management with Fortune 500 experience
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, or synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of developing and executing technology roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex systems and predict adoption curves
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies preferred
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption (white papers, patents, or keynotes)
