Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with market evolution and business objectives
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and board members
- Author thought leadership publications on technology evolution
- Build and mentor a team of futurist analysts and technology scouts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in anticipating market disruptions (portfolio required)
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or equivalent
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., AI ethics, quantum computing)
- Experience developing 5+ year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published author in technology foresight or innovation strategy
- Certification in Futures Research (e.g., CFrA) preferred
