Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, social, economic, and environmental domains to identify disruptive forces for 2026
- Develop and maintain a strategic foresight framework with 5-year predictive modeling capabilities
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with executive teams to prepare for alternative futures
- Translate complex future insights into actionable business strategies and innovation roadmaps
- Establish and cultivate partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and technology pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications and present future scenarios to global stakeholders
- Integrate ethical and sustainability considerations into all future-visioning initiatives
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3)
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-proof business strategies
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into coherent narratives
- Experience facilitating executive workshops and presenting to C-level audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., from WFS or Foresight Practitioners Network)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-vision work or scenario-planning projects
