Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks using AI-driven trend analysis and cross-industry pattern recognition
- Lead executive workshops on future-proofing business models against disruption vectors (quantum computing, synthetic biology, decentralized economies)
- Produce annual 'Horizon Scan' reports identifying 200+ emerging technologies with commercial viability
- Design innovation incubation programs for next-gen technologies (AR/VR 3.0, quantum-secure cryptography, climate engineering)
- Advolve on regulatory futures for autonomous systems, space commercialization, and AI governance
- Build proprietary scenario-planning models simulating black swan events and paradigm shifts
- Mentor junior futurists while establishing thought leadership through keynote presentations and white papers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic consulting, innovation, or technology foresight with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of translating complex futures into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and cross-impact matrix analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, biotech) and their convergence
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical futures to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (journal articles, books)
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ major foresight projects driving >$100M business impact
