Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market disruption forecasts for 2026
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling next-gen solutions (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging threats/opportunities in global tech ecosystems
- Forge strategic partnerships with venture capital firms and academic research institutions
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Drive ethical technology adoption frameworks aligned with UN SDGs
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proof methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record launching products/services with 2026+ market impact
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuromorphic AI, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MBA/MS/MEng preferred)
- Published thought leadership in tech journals (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Fluency in future forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Experience with regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful innovation initiatives
