In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate with quantum computing researchers, neurotech pioneers, and climate simulation experts to develop next-generation frameworks that redefine industry paradigms. Your work will directly influence product development, policy recommendations, and investment strategies at the intersection of biotechnology, AI ethics, and sustainable innovation.

Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning across 15+ emerging tech domains (quantum AI, synthetic biology, neural interfaces)
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight models using predictive analytics and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to align innovation roadmaps
- Author quarterly trend briefings for Fortune 500 partners and government agencies
- Design and prototype future-state simulations using digital twin technologies
- Mentor a team of 3 junior futurists and academic partnerships
- Represent Horizon Labs at global innovation summits (Davos, Web Summit, CES)
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight at tech startups or Fortune 100 innovation labs
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-state implementations
- Expertise in trend analysis frameworks (e.g., Delphi, STEEP, horizon scanning)
- Proficiency in simulation tools (AnyLogic, MATLAB, or Unity)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals
- Experience with climate tech and neurotech regulatory landscapes
- Strong network with academic futurist communities (WFSF, APF)
