Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks to inform product development and market positioning
- Partner with R&D teams to incubate breakthrough innovations aligned with future scenarios
- Deliver executive briefings and stakeholder workshops on emerging opportunities and risks
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications and roadmap documents for long-term strategic planning
- Quantify future market potential through data modeling and scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role at tech-forward organizations
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech: AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills for translating complex futures into actionable insights
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic initiatives influenced by foresight work
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) preferred
- Experience with futures simulation tools and data visualization platforms
