Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technological and societal trends to forecast market shifts through 2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for disruptive technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight into design thinking methodologies
- Author trend reports and whitepapers published in industry journals
- Represent the company at global innovation forums and think tank summits
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, trend analysis, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting market disruptions with 85%+ accuracy
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Published author or thought leader in innovation/futurism spaces
- Experience leading global cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
- Portfolio demonstrating tangible impact from foresight-driven initiatives
