Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technological roadmaps for emerging sectors (quantum AI, neurotech, climate engineering)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities beyond current industry paradigms
- Conduct horizon scanning for breakthrough technologies with 2026+ commercialization potential
- Partner with policy teams to shape regulatory frameworks for next-gen innovations
- Create predictive models for societal impacts of emerging technologies
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board members with compelling data-driven narratives
- Build and maintain an international network of futurists and domain experts
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning for emerging technologies
- Proven track record of developing future-ready frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
- Exceptional skills in scenario planning and trend analysis
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (IEEE, HBR, etc.)
- Experience with foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, STEEP analysis)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Futures preferred
