Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological convergence, and socio-cultural shifts to map 2026+ innovation landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI governance, and sustainable infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product roadmaps and R&D priorities
- Produce executive-ready future intelligence reports with actionable recommendations for board-level decision-making
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and innovation labs to pioneer next-generation foresight methodologies
- Mentor internal teams in strategic foresight practices and future literacy development
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting long-term innovation ecosystems
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field with 8+ years applied experience
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategies in tech, energy, or healthcare sectors
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, nanotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to distill complex futures into compelling narratives for diverse stakeholders
- Experience leading global cross-functional teams in innovation strategy environments
- Published thought leadership in futures/innovation publications (e.g., Futures Journal, MIT Tech Review)
