Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives mapping technological convergence points for 2026-2030
- Architect cross-disciplinary R&D projects integrating AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Develop patentable frameworks for human-computer symbiosis interfaces
- Collaborate with venture partners to incubate spin-off technologies
- Present innovation roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior researchers in emerging technology methodologies
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget through competitive grant applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Neurotechnology, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on emerging technologies
- Proven track record leading commercialized AI/quantum projects
- Expertise in futures forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Deep knowledge of ethical frameworks for human enhancement technologies
- Experience securing DARPA/EU Horizon grants
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technologies reaching market maturity
