Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and business growth
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.) to identify strategic opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams in building proof-of-concepts for disruptive innovations
- Present technology strategies to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish KPIs to measure innovation portfolio success and ROI
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory shifts affecting future adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching cutting-edge products or services
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong financial acumen for innovation budgeting and ROI analysis
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
