- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, metaverse integration) for strategic implementation
- Lead innovation workshops and hackathons to foster creative problem-solving across departments
- Analyze competitive landscapes and technological disruption trends to inform strategic decisions
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget with rigorous ROI tracking and reporting
- Present technology roadmaps to stakeholders and secure executive buy-in for major initiatives
- Mentor a team of 5+ technology strategists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record of successfully implementing disruptive technologies in Fortune 500 environments
- Expertise in emerging tech domains: quantum computing, generative AI, decentralized systems
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration (MBA preferred)
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or industry conferences
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data modeling and scenario planning tools
- Certification in Technology Strategy or Innovation Management (e.g., CTO, CIO, or similar)
