Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (neural interfaces, climate AI, quantum encryption)
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies (nanotech, synthetic biology, decentralized AI)
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic labs and government innovation initiatives
- Present technology visions to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven impact projections
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI deployment and quantum security protocols
- Mentor emerging technologists in future-focused innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech, or climate modeling
- Proven track record of launching technology products with $10M+ market impact
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 technology journals
- Deep understanding of global technology policy landscapes (US/EU/Asia)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technology ecosystem transformations
