Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business goals
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and assess commercial viability
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions and validate technical feasibility
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and startups to access innovation ecosystems
- Oversee technology ethics frameworks for 2026 product deployments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or blockchain
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products or services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to stakeholders
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Innovation Management preferred
