Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis of emerging technologies (quantum computing, advanced AI, neuromorphic systems)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives with data-driven impact assessments
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators to capture early-stage innovations
- Build and maintain a technology radar system tracking 200+ emerging tech indicators
- Champion a culture of experimental learning through rapid prototyping and failure analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies to market
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep technical understanding across AI, biotech, and quantum computing domains
- Certified Innovation Professional (CIP) or equivalent strategic foresight credential
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
