Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic technology roadmaps targeting 2026+ market opportunities
- Lead research initiatives on emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Collaborate with C-suite to align tech innovation with business objectives
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startups for potential partnerships or acquisitions
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Drive adoption of future-focused methodologies across R&D and product teams
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts affecting tech deployment landscapes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex scenarios
- Experience managing $1M+ innovation budgets
- Certifications in foresight methodology or technology forecasting (e.g., CFTE, APF)
