Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology strategy aligned with market trends and organizational vision
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Identify emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech) for strategic integration
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Mentor technical teams in future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of launching successful futuristic initiatives
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI development, climate tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience scaling technology teams across multiple continents
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., WFS, CSO) preferred
- Published research in peer-reviewed technology journals
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology impact modeling
