- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, biotechnology convergence, and neural interfaces
- Identify and evaluate breakthrough technologies with 5-10 year commercialization potential
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies for C-suite stakeholders
- Drive ethical technology frameworks and sustainability principles across all innovation projects
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology architects to cultivate next-generation talent
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech commercialization
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies with $100M+ market impact
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI safety, or climate tech
- Deep understanding of technological singularity implications and exponential growth models
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario development capabilities
