Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology adoption roadmaps for quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, and decentralized AI
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and futurists to prototype next-gen solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on technology implications
- Manage $2M annual R&D budget for experimental technology validation
- Partner with policy teams to shape regulatory frameworks for emerging tech
- Author thought leadership on technological singularity impacts
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum/AI/biotech)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of ethical AI, quantum cryptography, and neuro-ethical frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier journals
- Experience securing $5M+ in technology innovation funding
