Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3, etc.) to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026+ horizon scanning
- Develop and maintain technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate strategic insights into product development priorities
- Build financial models and ROI projections for experimental technologies and moonshot projects
- Represent Nexus at global tech conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor R&D teams on future-proofing product architectures and security paradigms
- Report quarterly to the Innovation Board with trend analysis and strategic recommendations
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven experience developing long-term (5+ year) technology roadmaps
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional data analysis skills with proficiency in trend forecasting tools
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Track record of commercializing experimental technologies
- Strong stakeholder management with C-suite experience
- Advanced degree in Business, Technology, or Strategic Foresight
