Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market disruptions across AI, Web3, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and futurists to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neural interfaces, climate tech) for strategic integration
- Secure partnerships with top academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present technology visions to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Manage $15M+ annual R&D budget with ROI-focused allocation strategies
- Mentor junior strategists in future-casting methodologies and ethical tech frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with proven impact on future-facing initiatives
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, or climate tech
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals (Nature, IEEE, MIT Tech Review)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Experience leading cross-continental teams across 3+ time zones
- Portfolio showcasing at least two 5-year+ tech roadmaps successfully commercialized
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Clearance for government-level innovation partnerships (TS/SCI or equivalent preferred)
