Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market predictions
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for strategic adoption
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Analyze global tech trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions
- Present visionary technology frameworks to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Manage a $2M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Build and lead a specialized Future Tech incubation team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching disruptive tech products or services
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Forecasting preferred
- Experience managing budgets exceeding $1M with measurable impact
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and research institutions
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
