Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging sectors (AI ethics, quantum applications, climate tech)
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate 2026-viable solutions
- Analyze global tech trends and regulatory shifts to inform strategic decisions
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budgets with ROI-focused resource allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in future-tech roles
- Proven track record launching commercialized innovations with global impact
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI governance, quantum computing, or sustainable tech
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- Advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, or Business (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
