- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs at MIT, Stanford, and ETH Zurich
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite executives and secure executive buy-in for multi-million dollar initiatives
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies and innovation frameworks
- Monitor global tech policy developments and adapt strategies to evolving regulatory environments
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Systems Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years experience in corporate innovation or technology strategy leadership
- Proven track record launching at least two breakthrough technologies with $50M+ market impact
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, and decentralized AI
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from Institute of the Future) or equivalent foresight methodology
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex technological ecosystems
