Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) to inform 2026 strategic initiatives
- Develop technology roadmaps with 5-year impact projections and ROI models
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical teams on future-state architectures
- Partner with product teams to integrate emerging innovations into commercial offerings
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes for early-mover advantages
- Manage innovation incubator projects with dedicated prototyping resources
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (3+ case studies)
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains: quantum, AI, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFTE, CEIM)
- Exceptional stakeholder management across technical and executive audiences
- Prior experience developing 5-year technology roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry forums
