Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 technology roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum computing, AGI, neural interfaces)
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives to prototype future-forward solutions
- Analyze emerging tech trends to identify disruptive opportunities and risks
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Create intellectual property portfolios protecting breakthrough innovations
- Mentor junior researchers in future-focused methodologies
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- 7+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AGI)
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products or research programs
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience securing multi-million R&D budgets
- Published work in peer-reviewed tech futurism journals
