Responsibilities
- Architect the 2026 technology vision and implementation roadmap for quantum-AI convergence
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 5+ year commercialization potential
- Develop strategic partnerships with leading academic research institutions (MIT, Caltech, ETH Zurich)
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate futuristic tech concepts
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Author thought leadership papers on technological singularity preparedness
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget for experimental tech initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 5+ years strategy experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (3+ successful launches)
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or synthetic biology
- Published author in Nature/Science with citations >500
- Proficiency in futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $1M annually
- Fluency in Mandarin and/or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
