Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and technology forecasting to identify emerging trends with disruptive potential by 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating next-gen technologies (quantum AI, neural interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable innovation projects
- Analyze market dynamics and competitive landscapes to position company for technological paradigm shifts
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, research labs, and technology incubators
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Monitor ethical implications and societal impacts of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Futures Studies, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or technology forecasting
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, generative AI, AR/VR, synthetic biology
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical information
- Demonstrated success in developing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Strong presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., CFM) preferred
