Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-driven allocation
- Champion ethical tech frameworks for responsible innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ in emerging technologies
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, or Web3
- Advanced degree in relevant field (PhD/Master's preferred)
- Experience managing R&D budgets >$3M
- Published thought leadership in tech journals (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management
