Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for next-gen AI systems and quantum applications
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D teams to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board members with data-driven impact projections
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on $50M+ research initiatives for sustainable tech
- Build and lead a specialized 'Future Tech' incubation unit for moonshot projects
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Proven track record of launching at least two enterprise-scale innovation initiatives
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent disruptive industry experience
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals preferred
- Experience securing $10M+ in research funding from DARPA/NASA/NSF
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks for autonomous systems
