Responsibilities
- Define and execute the long-term architectural vision for Nexus Horizon Labs, specifically focusing on 2026 and beyond.
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable cloud-native systems using microservices and serverless architectures.
- Conduct research and proof-of-concept development for emerging technologies, including Generative AI, Edge Computing, and Quantum Readiness.
- Mentor and guide a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Ensure system security, compliance, and high availability across all global deployments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (PhD preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior architect role.
- Deep expertise in modern programming languages (Python, Go, Rust) and frameworks.
- Proven track record of designing systems that scale to millions of users.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML integration into core systems and data pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams.
