Responsibilities
- Design and implement forward-looking system architectures for 2026 technology paradigms
- Lead research in emerging technologies (quantum computing, advanced AI, decentralized systems)
- Develop strategic roadmaps for infrastructure evolution over 5+ year horizons
- Collaborate with product teams to align technical solutions with future market needs
- Establish governance frameworks for emerging technology adoption and risk mitigation
- Mentor junior architects in future-proof design methodologies
- Present architectural visions to executive stakeholders and industry forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in systems architecture with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- Expertise in cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP/Azure) and container orchestration
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, AI/ML, and blockchain principles
- Proven track record of designing long-term infrastructure roadmaps
- Certifications in emerging technologies (e.g., AWS Quantum Specialist, TensorFlow)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong presentation skills for communicating complex future concepts
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science/Engineering preferred
