Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and accurately verify incoming and outgoing freight shipments to ensure all items are accounted for and in good condition.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to scan barcodes, update inventory counts, and process orders efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Operate handheld scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts (training provided) to move materials within the facility.
- Collaborate with team leads to resolve discrepancies and improve workflow efficiency during peak weekend shifts.
- Assist in general warehouse maintenance, including organizing storage areas and performing routine equipment checks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Ability to work a rotating weekend schedule (Saturday and Sunday) with a commitment to reliability.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail are essential for inventory accuracy.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and performing repetitive motion tasks.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a willingness to learn new processes quickly.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
