Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 Technical Support: Assist customers via phone and email with hardware and software troubleshooting in a timely and professional manner.
- Ticket Management: Log, track, and manage incoming support tickets using our CRM software to ensure all issues are resolved efficiently.
- Remote Assistance: Utilize remote desktop tools to diagnose and resolve issues for remote clients without visiting their physical location.
- Software Installation: Guide users through the installation and configuration of necessary applications and operating system updates.
- Hardware Maintenance: Perform basic diagnostics and coordinate repairs for defective equipment to minimize downtime.
- Customer Education: Educate users on best practices for cybersecurity and software usage to prevent future issues.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in IT or related field is a plus but not mandatory.
- No Experience Required: We welcome candidates with zero prior professional experience who are eager to learn.
- Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of computer operating systems (Windows and Mac) and internet connectivity.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and some weekday shifts as required by business needs.
