Responsibilities
- Provide tier 1 technical support to employees regarding hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, printers, and mobile devices.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and customer interactions accurately in our ticketing system.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to troubleshoot complex problems and implement preventative maintenance.
- Maintain inventory of IT assets and assist with regular hardware audits.
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical system outages during standard business hours.
- Conduct basic training sessions for new hires on office software and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic operating systems (Windows/macOS).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to diagnosing technical issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with non-technical staff.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Valid Driver's License (required for occasional onsite client visits).
- Aptitude for learning new technologies quickly.
