Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop/laptop systems and peripherals
- Monitor and maintain network security protocols and access controls
- Document IT processes, incidents, and resolutions in ticketing systems
- Assist with server administration and cloud service management
- Collaborate with senior engineers on infrastructure projects
- Conduct routine system backups and disaster recovery testing
- Train end-users on security best practices and software usage
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems and Active Directory
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Customer service experience with strong problem-solving skills
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification preferred
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and work in server environments
- Valid Texas driver's license required for occasional site visits
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and ticketing systems
