Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1-2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows/Linux systems and peripherals
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- Document technical procedures and maintain knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with senior engineers on complex system deployments
- Monitor system health and proactively address performance bottlenecks
- Deliver excellent customer service via ticketing systems and remote support
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with operating systems: Windows 10/11, macOS, and Linux distributions
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
- CompTIA A+ certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) a plus
