Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, and in-person for hardware/software issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop/laptop systems and peripheral devices
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security protocols across network systems
- Document technical procedures, issues, and resolutions in our IT service management system
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on network infrastructure projects and upgrades
- Conduct routine system backups and security vulnerability assessments
- Train employees on new software implementations and best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS, networking fundamentals, and security principles
- Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification preferred (willing to train)
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
