Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, and remote assistance for hardware/software issues
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop/laptop systems and peripherals
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security protocols following company policies
- Document incident tickets, resolutions, and knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve complex technical escalations
- Assist with network infrastructure monitoring and basic maintenance tasks
- Conduct regular system updates, patches, and security compliance checks
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-2 years of technical support internship or helpdesk experience preferred
- Proficiency with Windows OS, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to diagnose technical issues logically
- Excellent written/verbal communication and customer service aptitude
- CompTIA A+ certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and work occasional non-standard hours
