As an Entry-Level IT Support Specialist, you'll be the first point of contact for resolving technical issues, ensuring seamless system operations, and delivering outstanding customer service. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues for clients across various industries
- Provide remote and on-site technical support for desktops, laptops, and network infrastructure
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and productivity software
- Document technical procedures and create detailed knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with senior engineers on complex system implementations
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential vulnerabilities
- Train end-users on new technologies and best practices
Qualifications
- Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic understanding of Windows/macOS operating systems and networking principles
- Strong troubleshooting skills with hardware components and software applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification preferred (willing to train)
- Proficiency with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and travel to client sites as needed
- Valid Arizona driver's license required
