Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware, software, and network systems
- Assist with system installations, configurations, and troubleshooting
- Monitor network performance and security protocols
- Document IT procedures and maintain accurate knowledge base
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT projects
- Support cybersecurity initiatives including vulnerability assessments
- Manage helpdesk tickets and prioritize user requests
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Basic understanding of Windows/Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Customer service experience with strong communication skills
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
- Ability to lift 20 lbs for equipment maintenance
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional off-site support
