Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, and remote assistance for hardware/software issues
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows/macOS operating systems and peripheral devices
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls using Active Directory
- Document technical issues and resolutions in IT service management systems
- Assist with network infrastructure monitoring and basic maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with senior engineers on complex system implementations
- Participate in cybersecurity awareness training and best practices implementation
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA A+ certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS, networking fundamentals, and security protocols
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with logical problem-solving approach
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities with customer service mindset
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in fast-paced environments
- Valid Louisiana driver's license (required for occasional on-site visits)
