What You'll Do
You will assist with the full cycle of human resources functions, ensuring compliance with company policies and federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment Support: Assist in the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting job descriptions, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Onboarding: Coordinate the new hire onboarding process, ensuring all paperwork is completed and IT access is set up.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system and ensure compliance with data privacy laws.
- HR Events: Assist in planning and executing employee engagement activities, wellness programs, and company events.
- Compliance: Monitor changes in employment laws and ensure the company remains compliant with all federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HRIS software (e.g., BambooHR, Workday).
- Attitude: A genuine interest in HR and a desire to help people succeed within the organization.
- Availability: Must be available to work in Nashville, TN.
