As the first point of contact for our HR department, you will play a pivotal role in recruitment support, onboarding, and maintaining our high standards of employee relations. Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Sourcing: Assist in the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting job openings on various job boards and screening resumes for top talent.
- New Hire Onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and conducting orientation sessions.
- Employee Inquiries: Handle incoming HR inquiries via phone, email, and in person with professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality.
- Database Management: Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system and update personnel files as needed.
- Payroll Support: Assist the payroll team by verifying timecards and collecting necessary documentation for compensation processing.
- Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of company events, team-building activities, and wellness programs.
- Policy Administration: Help disseminate company policies and procedures to ensure compliance across the organization.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and approachable demeanor.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of HRIS software.
- Organization: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Work Ethic: A positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a genuine desire to learn and succeed in the HR field.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours and willing to start immediately.
