Responsibilities
- Recruitment Support: Assist in the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all paperwork is completed and they feel welcomed and prepared for their role.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on company policies and procedures.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in our HR Information System (HRIS) and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Event Coordination: Help organize and promote HR events, training sessions, and employee engagement activities to boost team morale.
- Policy Adherence: Stay up-to-date with local labor laws in Oregon and ensure company policies are consistently applied across the organization.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and approachable demeanor.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with HRIS software is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Integrity: Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and discretion.
