Responsibilities
- Source and screen qualified candidates through job boards, social media, and networking events
- Conduct initial phone and in-person interviews to assess candidate fit
- Manage applicant tracking system (ATS) data and maintain accurate recruitment records
- Coordinate interview logistics and candidate communication throughout the hiring process
- Assist with new hire onboarding paperwork and orientation preparation
- Support HR compliance initiatives including I-9 verification and background checks
- Collaborate with department managers to understand hiring needs and create job descriptions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0-2 years of recruitment or HR internship/co-op experience preferred
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with high energy and enthusiasm
- Valid driver's license required for occasional off-site recruiting events
