Responsibilities
- Assist with the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting jobs, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews for candidates.
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding procedures, ensuring all I-9 forms and paperwork are completed accurately and timely.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases (HRIS) with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Respond to general HR inquiries via phone and email, providing exceptional customer service to staff members.
- Assist with payroll processing, benefits administration, and tracking leave requests.
- Plan and coordinate HR events, such as employee recognition programs and training sessions.
- Support compliance efforts by staying current on federal and state labor laws.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems (e.g., BambooHR, Workday).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- A proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to learn about employment law and HR best practices.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee information.
